things to know before you visit LCP...

  • our playspace is perfect for children ages 9 months to 6(ish) years old. each play session is up to two hours and is a one time session. you may not leave and come back or split time between visits.

  • all guests must be accompanied by a parent or guardian when at the facility and inside the play area.

  • all guests must wear socks.

  • all guests must sign a waiver before entering the play space.

  • we are not a drop off center or child care facility. parents and caregivers must stay within the open play space to play with and/or supervise their child(ren) at all times during your visit.

  • strollers are not permitted inside the space. we have a very small entry/snack area for guests, so it is a fire hazard to have multiple strollers congesting it. please park strollers outside the front doors and down the window wall.

  • LCP has a small refreshment area featuring locally baked treats and healthy goodies for purchase. please refrain from bringing outside food and beverages into the facility with the exception of formula and foods to accommodate any guests with food allergies or sensitivities. LCP is a nut free facility. food deliveries to LCP during your visit are prohibited.

  • metered parking is available along hudson and washington streets for guests visiting from out of town. there is also a parking garage at 15th and bloomfield or 12th and shipyard way.

  • we kindly request that you do not visit LCP if your child is visibly sick. we ask that parents and caregivers consider the health and well being of our other guests.

  • we understand that many of our guests are within the potty training phase. all children must wear clothing and appropriate accident-proof undergarments during their time in the play space to keep our guests safe and our play space clean. swim diapers are not permitted in the playspace at any time.

  • our restrooms are outfitted with baby changing tables. under no circumstance should you change your child in the play space. we ask that parents and caregivers consider the health and well being of our other guests as well as the cleanliness of the space.
